Events and Activities

A major focus of BDOG has been to establish a place for dogs and their owners to socialize.

Since its inception, BDOG has also organized four very successful outdoor events for Belmont dogs, including two, with permission of the Selectmen, at the fenced-in site of the former Kendall School (and soon to be Senior Center).

BDOG had a table at Town Day with the participation of the Animal Control Officer and a local veterinarian, provided information at the Town’s rabies clinic, had tables at the annual Meet Belmont program, offered an agility class, and held meetings of its members with the Animal Control Officer participating.

More recently, BDOG has had meetings at Crate Escape, a local business that provides for dog indoor play and has kindly allowed BDOG, members and dogs, to meet at its facility.
